The Club also takes pride in the achievements of its members and is pleased to congratulate:

Mrs Norma Mesquita founder member and former Chair of the Lignum Vitae Club was awarded The Prime Minister's Medal of Appreciation for service to Jamaica.
The Medal was presented to Norma by The Prime Minister of Jamaica, The Honourable Percival Patterson on the occasion of The Heroes Day celebrations held at Emancipation Park in Kingston.

Mrs Joan DaCosta Robinson, member of the Lignum Vitae Club, was awarded The Badge of Honour for Meritorious Services. Joan was honoured for her contribution to the welfare and development of Jamaican children in Jamaica and the United Kingdom. The Badge of Honour was presented by His Excellency The Governor General of Jamaica on the occasion of the 43rd Anniversary of Independence.
